About KinderDerm

KinderDerm is an educational resource focused on the field of Paediatric Dermatology.  Paediatric Dermatology is a sub-specialised field of medicine concerned with skin, hair and nail conditions affecting infants, children and teenagers.

KinderDerm's mission is to provide Australian parents and healthcare professionals treating children with clear, simple, evidence-based advice on the care and treatment of children's skin conditions.  All information on KinderDerm has been prepared and reviewed by Australian qualified dermatologists with cross-disciplinary review by Australian qualified paediatricians.

KinderDerm was founded by dermatologist, Dr Tevi Wain. As a mother of two, and having treated many children with variety of skin diseases, Dr Wain recognised the importance of creating an evidence-based resource to educate and promote management of skin diseases in children.  Dr Tevi Wain practices in Sydney at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and at her private practice, Delta Dermatology.
